The jury of the Friends of Search Awards has decided. In the category Best SEA (Search Engine Advertising), Shampoo Bars and Brandblussershop will compete for the win. Aon Individuals and HEMA are nominated in the category Best SEO. The award ceremony will take place during Friends of Search 2024 on March 21st in the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam.
Barry Adams (chairman of the SEO jury): “Once again we had a fantastic set of submitted cases and struggled to pick a top three. The submissions showed a variety of great tactics and innovative approaches including clever use of generative AI, tapping into emerging searchable platforms as new spaces for SEO to evolve into, and highly effective in-house campaigns achieving strong returns from small investments. The Dutch SEO landscape once again proves to be at the cutting edge of the industry.”
A jury of international experts
Assessing the entries, the jury looked at how the cases distinguish themselves in clear strategic thinking, innovation, effectiveness, tangible results, clarity and privacy-friendly and responsible data use. Other than Barry Adams and Frederick Vallayes, the jury consists of an international team of independent search experts: Martin Röttgerding (SEA Safeguard), Anu Adegbola (PPC Live UK), Michiel Nienhuis (Google), Eline Barten (Wehkamp), Heather Physioc (VML), Arnout Hellemans (Online Markethink), Linda Hogenes (Coolblue).
