On Tuesday, 14 June 2022, we once again will be awarding the best search cases the Dutch marketing industry has to offer during the Dutch edition of Friends of Search (organized by industry associations DDMA & VIA), which this year takes place in the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam. Registration for the categories Best SEO and Best SEA (PPC) is open as of today at friendsofsearch.com/nl/awards/. Tickets for both the Dutch and the Belgian edition of Friends of Search are still available.
This year’s jury consists of two teams, each divided according to their field of expertise. The SEO jury so far consists of Linda Hogenes (Coolblue) and Barry Adams (Polemic Digital). The SEA jury so far consists of Purna Virji (LinkedIn) and Frederick Vallaeys (Optmyzer). When evaluating the entries, the jury will look at strategy, innovation, effectiveness, results, transparency and privacy friendliness, among other things. Registration closes on May 9.
Last year, viaBOVAG.nl beat other nominees Smulweb and Intergamma in the Best SEO category. With an innovative use of technology to carry out large-scale SEO activities and thereby increase website traffic, viaBovag.nl managed to convince the jury. In the Best SEA category, department store HEMA came out on top at the expense of other nominees Albert Heijn and Heinen Delfts Blauw. HEMA combined their offline and online programs in terms of targeting and incrementalism and achieved impressive results.
