Why Speak at Friends of Search?
Friends of Search stands out for its commitment to valuable, in-depth content for a specialized audience. Our selection process is designed to ensure that our speakers are not only experienced but can also offer unique perspectives and expert-level knowledge in the field.
Who We’re Looking For
Our selection criteria help ensure we maintain the quality that Friends of Search is known for. Here are a few guidelines on who we welcome and what we look for in speakers:
- Non-Sponsored Speakers Only
To maintain an unbiased experience, we do not select sponsors as speakers. This helps keep our content informative and objective. - Agency Representation Limited to Non-Local
We focus on international perspectives, and aim to remain unbiased, so we do not accept speakers from agencies based in the Netherlands or Belgium. - Tool Vendors Rarely Selected
Although we value insights from technology providers, only in exceptional cases do we select speakers who represent specific tools or platforms.
Selection Criteria
We assess each application on two main criteria:
- Depth of Expertise in Search
- We’re looking for individuals with substantial knowledge and experience in SEO or PPC who can bring innovative ideas and well-researched insights to our audience.
- Presentation Skills
- It’s not just what you know, but how well you can convey it. Our speakers are skilled communicators who can engage and educate an audience with clarity, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
